MS and PhD Admissions
FINANCIAL AID
The Health Informatics Graduate Program currently has no
general financial aid specifically for incoming students. However,
there are a variety of mechanisms by which students can receive
financial support:
- Exceptionally well-qualified incoming applicants can be nominated
for Graduate School Fellowships if their application is complete and submitted by January 1.
- Faculty within the program and in the University are frequently
looking for qualified graduate students for Research Assistant
positions. Arrangements for these positions are made separately
from the admissions process, though we will attempt to link students
with interested faculty.
- Special Graduate School Fellowships are available for minority
and financially disadvantaged students.
- Non-resident students of color and disadvantaged students who
have a GPA of 3.0 or better for their undergraduate degree are
eligible to pay in-state (resident) tuition.
Approximately 85 percent of current full-time students in the program
are supported through one of these mechanisms.
