MS and PhD Admissions

FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

The program welcomes applications from international students. The University of Minnesota has always had a vibrant international community of students that have contributed much to the intellectual life of the University. International students have always been s significant portion of the students in the Health Informatics program. If you are interested in applying for the program there are certain additional issues of which you should be aware:

Language Tests: TOEFL, MELAB and IELTS
one of these tests is normally required of all international graduate students whose native language is not English except those who will have completed 24 quarter credits/16 semester credits (within the past 24 months) in residence as a full-time student at a recognized institution of higher learning in the United States before entering the University of Minnesota. International Student and Scholar Services(ISSS)
The mission of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) is to assist foreign students and scholars, and to offer a variety of services. The ISSS is the primary point of contact with the University for international students regarding students visas and travel issues.
