MS and PhD Admissions
FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
The program welcomes applications from international
students. The University of Minnesota has always had a vibrant
international community of students that have contributed much
to the intellectual life of the University. International students
have always been s significant portion of the students in the
Health Informatics program. If you are interested in applying
for the program there are certain additional issues of which you
should be aware:
Language Tests: TOEFL, MELAB and IELTS
- one of these tests is normally required of all international
graduate students whose native language is not English except
those who will have completed 24 quarter credits/16 semester credits
(within the past 24 months) in residence as a full-time student
at a recognized institution of higher learning in the United States
before entering the University of Minnesota. For more information

International Student and Scholar Services(ISSS)
- The mission of International
Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) is to assist foreign students
and scholars, and to offer a variety of services. The ISSS is
the primary point of contact with the University for international
students regarding students visas and travel issues.
